MediBeacon^™ Selected as "Best Presenter" in The Life Sciences/Healthcare Track

(BOSTON, MA, December 11, 2013) – The 2013 edition of The New England Venture Summit featured a number of Medical Device innovations including MediBeacon’s Optical Renal Function Monitor system.

Each company then delivers their pitch on dedicated Technology, Cleantech, Life Sciences/Healthcare, and EdTech industry tracks respectively, allowing all investors to efficiently review potential deals.

From within the over 90 Top Innovators four companies were further selected by a panel of Investor judges as “best presenters” based on the merits of their presentations. The New England Venture Summit is the largest Venture Capital/Startup conference in New England.

The 8th annual New England Venture Summit connected venture capitalists, corporate VCs, angel investors, technology transfer professionals, senior executives of early stage and emerging growth companies, university researchers, incubators and premier service providers.

More than 40 leading VCs spoke at the Summit. These top-tier venture investors discussed: VC investment trends, strategies for investing in early stage ventures, strategies for finding and accessing capital, what they look for in early stage companies, the kinds of companies they find most attractive, and the do's and don'ts in structuring deals.
